"Kids In A Candy City" video part by adamturrisi

  1. Where are you from?
I was born in LA., but you can’t really count that since I moved to Warrenton, VA. when I was 1 years old. I’ve lived there since then. I just moved out of the DC area to Leesburg, VA. for a few months. I’m hopefully gonna move to Fairfax soon.
  2. How old are you?
I am currently 26 years of age.

  3. How many years have you been skating?
I was five years old when my brother Jarrett Durney put a board in my hands for the first time. What’s that like 20 years ha…

  4. Who are your current sponsors?
Fairfax Surf Shop and Convoy Skateboards.

  5. Stance?
    I ride REGS.

  6. Who inspires you?
I would have to say the guy who landed on the moon. The sky isn’t the limit anymore because there’s a footprint on the moon.
Adam Turrisi – The guy always has a positive outlook on things even when we are getting arrested for skating or nobody is landing any tricks. If that’s not inspiration, then I don’t know what is.

  7. What do you enjoy doing when you are off your skateboard?
I really enjoy playing guitar and lately I’ve been getting into working on cars. I have an old FJ60 1987 Land Cruiser that I just bought that I am restoring.
  8. If you could choose one thing to skate for the rest of your life, what would it be? (a ledge, a rail, a set of stairs, etc.)
In my younger years, I use to say it was handrails. But the knees don’t tend to them to like them as much these days. So I would have to say a super long marble ledge or bench.

  9. Favorite FSS Board?
Rob Falls’ Shark Attack board. Such a classic design from a talented artist.
